⚽ Guild Wars 2 Should I Use Level 80 Boost
Technically every class can get a build or two that can benefit greatly from celestial gear, so just pick whatever you find cool. However, most people will say Guardian, but I think that's not the best option. I'd like to share some Revenant propaganda. With celestial gear you're getting gateway to almost every possible spec in the game as a Revenant.
If you find exploration boring or something, buy an xpac, use one lvl 80 boost on an alt account, play the first half of the story step of PoF, get your mount, go back to your lvl 40 character, and explore the world with it :D
It's advisable to have at least one lvl 80 levelled the normal way because it helps learnt the game better. A lot of people boost, go straight to level 80 areas in HoT or PoF and then find themselves unable to do anything having skipped so much of end areas of the core maps (Orr) and Living World Season 2.
Members. 24.6k. Posted December 5, 2021. I'm pretty sure the Devs wouldn't spoil some big surprise like that if there was. So, go ahead if you want to use your L80 Boost. Or spend the time until End of Dragon releases by leveling up your character normally. Your choice. 2. 1.
I really like narrative and stories in my games, but it is taking me a long time to level my character to max. I started a month ago and am now at level 55, but I’m tempted to use the boost to speed things up. I just wanted to know if I will be able to replay personal stories or such cause I real
The unique dungeon armor skins are locked on the level 80 stuff. The gold rewards from the end all have some generic skin. You still could unlock the skin by buying the level 80 armor and trash it for the transmog. But that would be a bit of a waste depending on the armor you want to unlock. This said, some crafting sets look very cool.
Mesmer is a chore to level because its so squishy without the defensive mechanics afforded by its Elite Specs, plus you don’t really get the satisfaction of good clone combat because most enemies die before you can summon enough. It’s just not a great feeling. 14. asmallbeaver.
The boost is for players who know the game like the back of their hand and have more immediate goals that can't wait for a regular level up. IMO it'd be wasted on your Ele at this point. I2aphsc • 4 yr. ago. If it's you first character that your leveling up to 80 do not use that boost.
I recently bought both expansions and I fell in love with Druid. I want to play it, but need to get level 80. I know that everyone should level up normally to learn how to play the class and dont get lost at endgame, but I feel that by doing this I learn how to play with ranger, and from what I saw, druid is WAY different.
Don't worry though! Hitting level 80 is a relatively quick process. Leveling up in GW2 is more of an extended learning process, the 'real' game starts at the level cap. Getting lvl 80 gear isn't very hard either. I'd say pick up the expacs, enjoy the core story and leveling proces and use it to get a feel for the game, then jump into the jungle.
I picked up HoT and figured I'd get back into the game recently, and I got a token for a level 80 boost. I wanted to know if I should use the boost now, or if it's important for whatever reason that I go through the 1-80 experience. Yes to both. :) This is not well-explained in the game itself, but using the token does not consume it.
I have a level 80 Engineer, but I wanted to do something else. Ive been using the trial for the boost to mess around with classes and I enjoyed Revenant the most, as I was looking for a death knightish class, and I know the reaper exists but Rev just seems cooler, animations and playstyle-wise, and Im not a fan of scourge/harbringer, Renegade
3 options. Doesn't matter. Getting the mounts isn't any easier or harder with the right build. Necromancer, as the lvl 80 boost gear is a decent condition damage set, as opposed to getting soldiers gear on the other classes which is lackluster outside of wvw. Mesmer, as leveling a mesmer sucks. ChmSteki.
There's a "trial mode" in the L80 boost which is pretty much what you think it is. You can cancel the trial after playing around with the class, or choose to keep your character the way it is. So try out both guard/rev if you want to. Probably elementalist or necromancer, your call though. The one you like playing the most.
Edelweiss.4261. Danikat.8537. Dashiva.6149. Biff.5312. Biff.5312. Enox.5870. I wouldn't say learn the class from leveling doing maps in PvE. Some classes you can but a lot of classes you aren't gong to be very efficient because completing maps in PvE is easy even if you jusr randomly press buttons.
